HERE's HOW IT WORKS

  • Once installed, humidity in the ice machine activates the CleanIce sachet, generating a small amount of CI02 gas.
  • The gas is released as a vapor through the breathable, puncture-resistant sachet.
  • It travels to ALL open areas in the machine and walk-ins (this includes the coils, chute, compressor, and evaporator plates).
  • Works for up to 30 days – switch sachet each month for refreshed cleaning!
  • CleanIce is odorless, colorless, and non-corrosive…even to nickel. It does not harm ice produced, alter taste of served beverages and food, or corrode ice machine parts.

More Chemical Selective

Chlorine dioxide is more chemically selective than bleaches, ozone, or peroxides – it destroys unwanted microbes without burning or corroding surfaces.

CIO2 isa Nuetral Molecule

Chlorine dioxide is a neutral molecule. This allows it to seamlessly infiltrate growths (such as biofilm) and destroy the inner-lying molds and spores.

Disinfects via Oxidation

The chlorine dioxide molecule has an oxidation number 21/2 times higher than bleach, ozone, and peroxide, which means that lower levels of ClO2 can accomplish the same disinfection applications as higher levels of these conventional chemicals.

Will Not Build Tolerance to CIO2

Due to chlorine dioxide’s unique method of pathogen inactivation, viruses, bacteria, molds, and spores are unable to build up a tolerance to the ClO2 molecule.

Leaves No Residual on Surfaces

Chlorine dioxide has a high material compatibility and leaves no residual on hard, non-porous surfaces.
