COOLER PACK INSTRUCTIONS

  • Chlorine dioxide gas is very effective at controlling spoiling of food due to microbial growth at levels as low as .01 ppm.

  • In an independent research study at Purdue University funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, ClO2 gas-treated products showed insignificant changes in surface color, minimal and acceptable residues (<mg/kg) of oxidative species, and extended shelf-life. The results strongly demonstrate that ClO2 gas sanitizing treatment is a promising alternative to improve the safety and quality of most fruits and vegetables.

Initial Installation and Cooler Pack Use Instructions

STEP 1

Thoroughly clean and sanitize environment according to manufacturer directions, company protocol, and state regulations.

STEP 2

Remove sachet from foil pouch and place into clamshell container or holder.

STEP 3

Set product in central location (avoid placing directly in front of fan or ductwork).

STEP 4

And don’t forget to replace CleanIce Cooler Pack every 30 days.
